Indie Crush of The Week: Keemosabe

Rising from a small Italian town near Lake Maggiore but drawing on the fury and drama of the world’s largest cities, Keemosabe belie their tranquil suburban home.

Following their previous single ‘Stay Awake’,Keemosabe have released their brand new track and visuals ‘Out of The City’. Merging energetic grooves, powerful riffs and pop melodies, the Italian indie rockers cater to lovers of the likes of Foals and The Black Keys.

Equally as exhilarating and punchy as the track itself, the video to ‘Out of The City’ has already scooped the top prize at the Roma Videoclip Awards, the most prestigious festival for music videos in Italy.

Following the recording and mastering of their EP at Abbey Road Studios, the band were subsequently invited to perform a live show at the fabled Studio One. Set to release the EP later this month the band’s London dates have already proved a huge success, selling out both The Islington and Servant’s Jazz Quarters, whilst their popularity in Milan saw them playing the city’s largest venues, including the 3,000-capacity Alcatraz.
