INDIE CRUSH OF THE WEEK: THE MYSTERINES

Female-fronted, fresh-faced three piece from Liverpool, The Mysterines, bring energy, talent and outrage to the modern rock scene. With a lead singer and a voice that sounds like she’s been smoking for double her lifetime, heavy drums and distorted guitar, they act as the perfect angry garage-rock band.

Recently picked up for support on the Royal Blood tour, it is obvious that this band has potential to go far. The energy and noise they bring to a stage really gets the audience jumping up and down. Hopefully this band is just one in a revival of female-fronted rock bands. The Mysteries are yet to record and release an EP, but you can find their ever promising singles over on Spotify.
