Josh Kroehn Releases Heart-Wrenching Single “Never Found”

Australian-born Josh Kroehn has previously wowed music listeners of his homeland, with rave reviews from Happy Mag, Buzz Music and Glamglare. His debut EP, “Something I’ve Found” saw huge success – peaking at no.7 in the Triple J Unearthed Charts. His influences include singer/songwriters such as Ben Howard and Dallas Green (City and Colour) as well as alt/rock bands like Radiohead and Pearl Jam.

Kroehn’s latest release, ‘Never Found’ is an all-acoustic first glimpse at his debut album – which is expected to be released later this year. His heart-wrenchingly honest lyrics and fragile fingerstyle guitar technique gives an urgency and poignancy to this bittersweet track which tells the story of him leaving behind a fabricated persona he had preciously created to become the real Josh – in what seems to be some sort of self-discovery.

“Incredibly expressive lyrics and delicious melodies, plus a musical build-up that intensifies superbly”

Arguably one of his finest songs yet, ‘Never Found’ boasts the best characteristics from his previous works all in one song. This could possibly be only the beginning as we await for more on the release of his debut album – which is currently without a release date.

‘Never Found’ is officially out on all streaming platforms this Friday (25th June) but you can listen to his EP, ‘Something I’ve Found’ HERE:
