After the success of her previous single ‘Toodle-oo”, Ruth Brosnan is back with her electric new track ‘Electric Gold’. This uptempo dance anthem released last month blends 80s and modern electronic elements into a 90s style, feel-good pop track you won’t be able to get enough of.
Inspired by the the Covid-19 pandemic and the strength of our key workers, Brosnan hopes to spread some joy during today’s uncertain climate, with ‘Electric Gold’ providing a moment of escapism and reassurance that we can battle through the pandemic together.
Showing how people from all walks of life have coped during the pandemic and creating an uplifting sense of unity, this addictive track is exactly what we all need at the moment.
“It’s about realising that we are all our own heroes and will overcome these tough times and emerge together stronger. It is a shot of adrenaline to all of those obeying the rules so far to keep on going and a thank you to frontline staff.”
Ruth’s vocals are stunning as always and perfectly compliments the catchy synth beats that give it that all important ‘electric’ feel. The brand new music video brings an additional sense of fun with colourful animations depicting front-line workers as superheroes, following the stories of those putting themselves at risk to help others.
Lead by Ruth herself, the characters entertain with a feel-good group dance that will have you wanting to get up on your feet and join in with the fun!
Electric Gold is available to stream now on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, Tidal, Deezer and Apple Music. You can stream it via the links below and follow Ruth on social media to see what gold she comes out with next!
