J Carlyle’s new single ‘Intruder Alert’, released February 5th, has already accumulated huge amounts of praise from listeners and critics alike, with BBC Introducing dubbing the track an “Absolute Banger”!

J has been involved in the musical scene since the young age of 15, when he started writing his own songs in-line with a few of the different genres he enjoyed. The influences of these genres have stuck with J as he has begun to release his own music – dancehall, R&B and grime to name a few! Incorporating these styles into his own creations has lead to J feeling as though he’s finally found his place within music, releasing tracks that he was born to make and put out into the world.

Lexxicon set to release hit EP ‘Bashment SZN’

Bashment SZN, the multi-genre EP curated by Lexxicon, is set to release April 7th. With a perfect mix of Bashment, Dancehall, Tropical R&B and Grime, Lexxicon touches up on his long time influences, PartyNextDoor and Swae Lee, to bring a sound that is familiar yet so distinctly him.

Lexxicon’s music style and production are heavily influenced by his Jamaican roots, as he’s mastered the skill of mixing multiple genre’s and styles with sounds found within his home and culture. Surrey Sound: Leoscappin Set To Release Alienated EP.

The likes of Young Adz, M Huncho, Wewantwraiths and many more have perfected the sound of melodic rap in the current UK scene. Sometimes the centralised world of music can force us to be ignorant of new waves and talent around us.

This leads to a young rising star by the name Leoscappin. Despite having Japanese heritage and growing up in Brazil, it is clear the young artist living in Surrey is influenced by the melodic wave which is prevalent in UK and American Hip Hop.

At Just 17 years old, he has been able to Amass over 9000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with his most popular track to date being ‘‘Adderall’.‘

Surrey based rapper Leoscappin is set to release his new EP ‘Alienated’ on February 5th. Despite having grown up in Brazil, the artist is currently settled in England, and it’s melodic American hip-hop that influences his sound. Quite the combination, then.

The lead track from the EP, ‘Lost You’, features smooth rap vocals, addictive synth and is perfect for anyone looking for something to chill out to. His thoughtful, topical lyrics are sure to resonate with many and his effortless vocals are enough to make anyone jealous of his potential.

Speaking about his experiences writing music, Leoscappin explained:
