Eight Year Old Elle Gives The Gift of Giving This Christmas With New Charity Single

At just eight years old, little Elle has already began to capture the hearts of the nation, encouraging everyone to think of the people who are less fortune than themselves this Christmas. In aid of the UK charity Shelter, Elle aims to raise funds and awareness to help the homeless.

A percentage of the revenue raised by ‘It’s Christmas‘ will be donated to the charity, aiming to help the vulnerable on the streets, as well as those majorly affected by the national lockdown, with many more people needing help after the tragic effects of COVID-19. Through this adorable song, Elle is asking the general public to switch on their kindness and think about others during the festive season.

With heart-wrenching videos of the homelessness crisis in England, and young Elle offering gifts and treats to those on the streets, this song is an instant Christmas classic, easy to sing along for all ages and beautifully festive.

8-years-old Elle releases Christmas single to support the homeless

The single, ‘It’s Christmas’, has been released after Elle decided to do more than just help the homeless in her hometown of Southampton and set her sights on the rest of the nation.

She’s raising money for homeless charity Shelter, to not only widen awareness but get them some vital funds ready for the festive season.

A percentage of all the funds from downloads and views of Elle’s music video (which you can watch below!) will go directly to the charity to help prevent homelessness in the lockdown and festive period.

Almost every Sunday Elle goes out with her mum delivering sandwiches, cake and fruit to those sleeping rough on the streets. She sets an example which we should all follow, not just at Christmas but all year round.

Elle said: “I just hope this song makes people think about homeless people this Christmas. It must be horrible to live on the streets and I just want to try and help them more if I can. Thank you to everyone who supports this fundraising campaign.”

Eight year old Elle Warms Hearts with Christmas Single to Support Homeless People.

Feeding the homeless all started for Elle after seeing a man sleeping rough when she was seven years old. She was keen to help him by any means necessary but it was then she realised that there were many more people homeless in the street.

It became tradition for Elle every Sunday to go out with her mum in all weathers around Southampton to help the homeless which led to her hairdresser, Saab Vancootan, offering Elle the opportunity to sing a song that she had written.

The end result, ‘It’s Christmas’, is a joyous, in front-of-her-years performance from Elle that is bound to tug at your heart strings.

Eight year old Elle shows maturity far beyond her years with her dedication to supporting the homeless through her heart-warming charity single ‘It’s Christmas’. Her aim is to raise awareness for the homeless, fundraising for one of the UK’s biggest charities, Shelter.

With homelessness becoming a much more prevalent issue thanks to the UK lockdown, Elle has asked the public to show their generosity and think of those less fortunate while listening to her song, which you can watch the video for below.

Elle’s passion for helping the homeless began when she was just seven years old. After seeing a man sleeping out on the streets, she decided to give him some of her left over birthday cake and was upset to learn that he wasn’t the only one dealing with this hardship.
