Atlanta-based R&B artist known as The Real J Israel recently released a single celebrating the holiday season entitled “Be Grateful (Give Thanks)” on November 25th. The Real J Israel made his debut in 2019 with the release of his single, “Freaky Tonight,” and things have only been going up for this emerging artist. This is the first holiday song released by The Real J Israel but it sounds like it could soon be an instant classic.

The Real J Israel got his start singing gospel music in churches but shifted to R&B music when he launched his solo career. Any listener can still clearly hear his gospel influences on his new music and that is especially evident on “Be Grateful (Give Thanks).” The Real J Israel’s foundation in the spiritual power of the church and gospel music are some of the reasons why his voice is so unique and powerful in the R&B world of music.
“Be Grateful (Give Thanks)” follows The Real J Israel’s successful EP, called No Pressure, and a series of other successful singles, including a cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” and Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey.” The Real J Israel currently is a family man and runs his own small business, both of which help him create his distinctive sound that centers a sincere, down-to-earth attitude in his music.
