‘My Dying Bride’ Mispronunciation Makes Merch Masterpiece

Sky News presenter Gillian Joseph slipped up by announcing ‘My Dying Bride’ as ‘My Dying Wife’ to the dismay of fans. Instead of being offended, the band showed their sense of humour by creating a piece of merch to honour the moment, the proceeds of which will be donated to the ‘UK Metal Merger Campaign’. The campaign is a team of metal bands that have come together to raise money for live music crews that have gone through a hard time not being able to work in lockdown. Their song ‘Sorizon’ is a great representation of current metal rock bands and not to be missed if ‘Cradle Of Filth’ is up your street.

Gambling Be Gone! James Fox On The Road To Redemption With New Single ‘Rest Of Our Lives’

In anticipation of his new single Rest of our lives, we look at the story behind this song of hope. We also look into the man behind the song, and that man, ladies and gentleman, is none other than James Fox!

Adding on to an illustrious career which includes two Top 20 UK singles to date; being the representative for the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004; working with national treasures and immense talents such as Sir Tim Rice and Tina Turner, as well as occupying multiple West End and Broadway roles, Fox looks to be a role model and a beacon of support for those who have experienced addiction like he has.

His upcoming single marks his return to music after suffering from a gambling addiction that almost ruined him. The track would prove therapeutic to his recovery and is set to come out on the 29th January 2021.

Pinny Praises all the ‘Amazing’ People Who Have Helped in COVID-19

Merv Pinny’s upbeat and joyful new single acknowledges the challenges of 2020, and pays thanks for the gifts that the wonderful folks on the COVID frontline have given to the world.

Despite his musical ambitions only being ignited fully when his older brother gave him a $10 guitar when he was ten years old, which apparently was compensation for running him over with his truck in, Merv has devoted his life not just to music but to campaigning for social justice.

With Transgender Day Of Remembrance around the corner, its important to remember that trans musicians are everywhere, and have always been everywhere, as forerunners in the musical industry. From standing in the spotlight back in the 60s with gospel notes to leading punk rocks bands in the 2010s, trans musicians are here to make their voices heard.

Ryan was one of the first transgender singers I had come across that I was aware of being trans. His music often sings of the reality of being a trans man in the world of rigid gender binaries, and speaks openly about not wanting to take the Hormone drug, Testosterone – otherwise known as just “T” – because of its unpredictable affects on his vocals. Quantum Gates is the latest album release from Stefan Elefteriu, a cumulation of his incredible journey from building his own synthesizers in communist Romania to writing the score for a sci-fi movie.
